We kick things off by redoing Soup or Naw—this time discussing things that are actually food. David gets to begin the process of establishing a definition of soup for the purposes of our show; Jim almost doesn’t mind. After that, of course, comes follow up. Honestly, I don’t remember much of what we talked about, but I’m guessing at least one point was about Kevin DeYoung.
For our main topic, we discuss Jim’s protestant problem and how he kind of wants to kill all the heretics or something. David points out Jim’s Baptist heritage and then we get in a fight. This leads to what is perhaps the most helpful sidebar we’ve ever had (or naw) and we then end up agreeing on some things so much that it will make you even more nauseous than the show was probably already making you—but now for different reasons.
