For our main topic, we discuss the Dunning-Kruger effect—or why incompetent people think they’re amazing. It’s a deep dive into our show, when you think about it. Anyway, we discuss our history with being micromanaged by people who aren’t experts in our fields and David talks a little about how his awareness of this concept has pushed him to take a hands-off approach to things he doesn’t know a lot about.
