Fancy Hammered
Episode 63 on Saturday, Nov 02, 2019
Much like Presbyterian theology, our whiskey journey takes us from Scotland to America. We begin by tasting some Buffalo Trace. Jim seemed insistent that we have at least some amount of alcohol in our system before he let David do follow up.
For the main portion of our show, we discuss bourbon. Jim takes David up to a high mountain overlooking Kentucky and explains that everything the light touches is good. David, spotting Tennessee off in the shadowy distance with his eagle eyes inquires there about. ”That's beyond our borders. You must never go there, David.“ Jim replies. We also learn how Oakland came to be, why California is both weird and on fire, and why American whiskey is has a French name.
